Description: The B’More Green club members are committed to helping to clean our waterways. In December, we spent an afternoon identifying the storm drains we wanted to adopt. We then cleared the drains and the areas that drain into the drains of trash and debris.

Description: The B’More Green club members identified the storm drains they wanted to adopt and stenciled them with anti-pollution messages from the templates provided by Blue Water Baltimore.

Date: April 2018, 2019 and scheduled for 4/17/2020
Description: Canoe and Scoop at Middle Branch Park. After learning about the impact of storm drain water pollution, 45 8th grade students took a field trip to Middle Branch Park. The Baltimore Parks and Recreation Department has a canoe and scoop program to help clean up the shoreline. Students rotate between picking up trash by boat and by land. Seeing the huge volume of garbage has a real impact on the students.
