Environmental Literacy

Description: 27% of the teachers at Hampstead Hill Academy attended environmental literacy professional development lead by Chesapeake Bay Foundation. During this session, teachers engaged in activities that both increased their knowledge on environmental issues and could also be implemented in their classroom. Teachers also utilized the Maryland Green School Report Card to analyze HHA’s current standing and ways HHA can improve.
