Challenge Grant

Green Healthy Smart Challenge Grant

Date: December 2019

Description: Green Healthy Smart Challenge Grant

With the help of parent volunteers, we wrote and were awarded this grant to help us with our waste reduction efforts this year.  The money from this grant was used to purchase cloth table linens, cloth napkins, compostable cutlery and re-usable plates. Because of these purchases, and the donated services of a commercial composting company, we were able to vastly reduce the amount of waste generated during our quarterly Community Arts Night dinners!
